ENGINEER A.D designed an 80 ft pedestrian footbridge to provide a safe and efficient crossing for pedestrians over roadways and obstacles. The scope included structural planning, material selection, load analysis, and compliance with AASHTO LRFD standards. The project emphasized durability, environmental resilience, and safety measures to ensure long-term functionality.
Ensuring structural integrity while meeting safety standards and environmental conditions was a key challenge. Factors such as pedestrian load, material durability, seismic stability, and railing height had to be carefully considered. Our approach balanced strength, aesthetics, and compliance with regulations to deliver a reliable and secure footbridge.
